What a Gadget!
My new Joby Gorillapod arrived in the mail late last week.
I found it more convenient to use my own quick-release tripod head to attach my camera to Gorillapod’s standard tripod mount. In addition to the quick-release feature, my tripod head allows me to take vertical or horizontal pictures and adjust (and lock in place) the angle of my camera up or down.
The three flexible segmented legs firmly secures my camera to just about anything — anywhere and everywhere!
What a great way to snap a self portrait!

Very Cool! I saw something similar (and generic) at WalMart today.
Love the gorillapod. I own a mini one for my little canon and my camcorder, and at the studio we use this one ALL the time on shoots in the field. It’s a powerful accessory!
