Crabby Tree
There’s new color in our yard. The crabapple blossoms came out this past weekend. The crabapple tree is not in our yard; it is in our neighbor’s yard. Some of the branches, though, extend into our yard. Thus, there is new color in our yard 🙂
We don’t have any trees in our yard. We used to have two trees; however, we had them cut down several years ago. One tree was outside our bathroom, too close to the house. The second tree was in our back yard, near the garage. I can’t remember why we cut that tree down. I know Bob didn’t like mowing around it. Also, it was an evergreen tree that littered our yard quite a bit. I guess those two things could be reason enough to cut the tree down. When we had the trees cut down I remember thinking how bare our yard would look. As it turned out that wasn’t the case at all. Our yard doesn’t look bare. There are lots of trees and shrubbery in the yards surrounding our house.
Here’s a close-up picture of the crabapple tree blossoms.

We had to cut down a row of very tall pines that bordered our yard because they were diseased. I miss them very much. Now the neighbor's garage light shines in our bedroom window. :o(
Very pretty blossoms! I would LOOOVE to cut down the tree in our backyard, but Sam says it provides shade and helps cool the house in summer. . . I think it's diseased but we haven't had it looked at yet. It lost a GIANT limb two summers ago during a rain storm for no apparent reason, so I really would like to see it go.
Sounds like my husband. He complains about mowing around stuff in the yard. Love your pictures. I get so excited about something new blooming every week.
Isn't this a wonderful time of the year to take pictures? Yours are so inviting and the blossoms are beautiful!
