Neighborhood Beautification Project, Post #3
In November, last year, I blogged about a neighborhood beautification project in Jamestown, NY. Two local artists (Kristen McNitt and Tara Eastman), as well as several volunteers, painted a large scale mural (12 feet high by 20 feet wide) at the Eastside YMCA. You may read about the mural painting here and here.
The Living Water Community Mural was unveiled late yesterday afternoon. The mural is located along North Main Street at Brooklyn Square. Even though I only photographed the mural as it was painted, I shared in the excitement of the mural’s unveiling. It was a very memorable moment!

Linda,The Mural turned out lovely! I was hoping you'd do a follow-up on it!
Linda,You documented this project wonderfully. Thanks for braving the cold–I know Tara appreciated you being there!
Those are really good ones Linda. Such type of beautification also ensures that the place is not polluted, which is really good.
