Animals in the Limelight
Earlier this month I visited with my stepdaughter, Stacey, and on another day with my friend, Susan.
Stacey invited Bob and I for dinner on Saturday, March 6th. Stacey prepared a delicious salmon dinner. The baked salmon was accompanied by potatoes and zucchini. For dessert we had banana creme cake, which Bob and I picked up at a food mart near where Stacey lives. After dinner Stacey, Bob and Stacey’s boyfriend, Mike, played Frisbee golf on the Nintendo Wii. What was I doing while they played Frisbee golf? I watched the antics of Stacey’s cats. Stacey’s four cats provide me plenty of photo taking opportunities.

This is Billy.
Billy had his front paws declawed. The “lampshade” is to prevent Billy from chewing his paws and opening the stitches. Billy is healing well. He can jump on and off things as agile as before the surgery, even with the lampshade on.

This is Wickett.
Before the end of the evening all four of Stacey’s cats had jumped in and out of this trunk.
On Tuesday, March 9th, I visited my friend Susan. During my 1 1/2 hour visit, we sat around the kitchen table chatting about anything and everything. It was a good visit. Besides Susan and I, Susan’s friend Jessica was there as well as Susan’s daughter, Missy. What did I find to photograph while at Susan’s house? Toby, of course. How can anyone resist photographing such an adorable looking dog!

Hello, my name is Toby!

Toby and Wicket look like they're related. Great Pictures!
Linda: Fun captures of the cats and the cute dog. Great funnel on the first cat.
Ahhh, two of my favorite things, a dog and kitties, nice shots, you really caught Toby's expression.
Nice pictures of some really cute animals. I like Billy, but that cone makes me think of the movie Up. I will never see one of those cones again without thinking of the cone of shame and the laughter that erupted from my husband because of that movie!
I love the photographs of the cats and Toby. I love taking photographs myself of any animals or favourite plants that I see.
I have four cats, also, and you cannot have a box without they are in it. Nor open a door without one has to go through it. But my cats are very hard to get good pictures of, unless you consider the one of Bubbie good….
Thank you, everyone, for the comments. They are very much appreciated!
