First Sighting
On May 1st I caught my first glimpse, this year, of a rose-breasted grosbeak! He’s watching me from our neighbor’s crab-apple tree.

Rose-Breasted Grosbeak
I look forward to seeing this bird each year. The rose-breasted grosbeak is such a pretty bird.

What a nice capture…it could not have posed in a better place.
That is beautiful, so sharp and clear. Really like that pink beak too.
I love the background for this grosbeak! Gorgeous!I haven't seen any yet and I usually get them at my feeder by now – darn! Hope I will soon.
A very beautiful picture and bird!
Linda: Wonderful photo of the grosbeak, perfect in the flowering tree.
Scott – The grosbeak's beak is actually a pale yellow color. I think the pink is being reflected from the pink blossoms. It isn't a white balance issue because all the other colors are correct.
very beautiful photo of birds Linda, also love the blueberry bushes and rain-kissed azaleas, such lovely captures!
