Ribfest 2010 – Second Day: Jack the Dog in Concert
Warren held its 7th annual Ribfest this past weekend. The Ribfest is a four-day event. Bob and I attended Ribfest each day, beginning on Thursday afternoon (July 15). We listened to Paul Eisert in concert on Thursday afternoon. On Friday we listened to two Rock-n-Roll concerts. The first concert was the band “Jack the Dog”. The second concert was the band “The Earthquakers”. This blog post will showcase the band “Jack the Dog”. My next Ribfest blog post will showcase the band “The Earthquakers”.

According to its Myspace page, “Jack the Dog” plays classic rock mixed with current songs by Aerosmith, Billy Idol, Kid Rock, Buckcherry, Thin Lizzy, Nickelback, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Foghat, Velvet Revolver, Allman Brothers, Ted Nugent, Skynard, 38 Special, Theory of a Dead Man plus many more.
While listening to “Jack the Dog” we enjoyed a dinner platter of chicken and 1/3 slab rib with coleslaw, corn bread and baked beans from the Two Fat Guys ribber. We split the platter, which made the $15 cost more reasonable.

Now that looks like a blast and a half! I've been hankerin' to smoke up a big batch of ribs and have my own little 'ribfest'. Your pics made me feel like I was there.God bless ya and have a beautiful summer day!!! :o)
So strange–went to the My Space Page and the song playing when it gets fully open is No Time…one of my favorite songs. And a good job cover of it, too.
