Some severe weather rolled through yesterday. A tornado warning was issued for where I live; thankfully a tornado didn’t touch down here. Other nearby areas were not so lucky. The town of Mayville and Chautauqua Institution are located approximately 40 miles north of where I live. The tornadoes caused destruction but, thankfully, it appears that no one was injured.
Last night, sometime after the storm had passed through, the sky cast a weird, unearthly yellow glow. I just sat looking at the sky. I don’t know why I didn’t take a picture of the sky at that time. I did, however, get a couple pictures of a beautiful sunset that followed the yellow glow.
