Bob Has a New Toy
Bob’s new toy is shiny; it is bright red. We needed to borrow a truck to pick it up in Erie. Bob’s new toy was packed in a crate and weighed 350 pounds. It was loaded into the truck bed by a forklift. When we got Bob’s new toy home, it took Bob and our neighbor, Scott, to lift it off the truck onto the garage floor. Bob’s new toy is going to occupy a piece of our garage. The new toy has wheels and can be raised up and down. Have I raised your curiosity enough to wonder what is Bob’s new toy?

Bob’s new toy!

Bob’s new toy is a motorcycle lift.

Bob can now perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and removal of tires, without lying down on the ground.
Thank you, Rick, for the loan of your truck. Thank you, Scott, for helping Bob unload the lift from the truck!

Cool bike!!! Cool lift!!!Have fun Bob!
Lucky Bob. I'll bet he gets almost as much mileage out of that as he does the bike.
If you can't find Bob..you'll know where to look.
Linda: How nice, easier then laying on the floor.
Great idea! It will save $ and backaches in the long run.
I've never heard of one of those! How cool!
Bob is a happy camper, isn't he????? I thought at first he got a new motorcycle—but I knew that the one you all have is not that old…. SO–now I know!!!!! Now–he can take good care of his 'baby'…… Do you come in SECOND in his life????? ha ha (I know better!!!)Hugs,Betsy
Nice one… And I like the registration plate of Bob's motorcycle..Ram
@ Betsy: She still comes in first. I probably wouldn't even have the lift, because she's smarter than me when it comes to budget. I have to admit I did find a sweet deal, though. (On both her AND the lift)
Now that is fun!Warren could have used that this week to work on the dishwasher…lol.Becky K.
That's pretty good, Linda. I've always had to change the oil and filter while laying on the garage floor. Much easier to do it with that lift. I'm sure that it will work well for Bob. Shining all the chrome will work better, also.Keep the rubber side down, and the shiney side up! Ride safe.Les
Way to go, that should make maintenance much easier. I'm glad he saw the deer you referred to in your comment on my blog and didn't get injured or damage his motorcycle.
I bet Bob is one happy boy with that…tools make all the difference in doing things. I guess you would call that a tool.
More than the lift, I was struck by the number plate of Bob's bike!
