The Leaves They Are A-Changin’

Autumn Splendor
I enjoy watching the leaves of this tree change color each autumn. The tree is in our neighbor’s yard. We can see it from our back door.

the great colors on the leaves and the crisp clear air is what i like so much about autumn
Our leaves are just beginning to change but I expect the pace will pick up very soon as our temperatures are taking a big dip.
Yay! I love to see the colors of Fall. So many of our leaves are just falling down in the big winds we have had. Besides we have had such a dry summer that I am not sure how much color we will have.Becky K.
We don't have this much color down here yet, but we're certainly looking forward to it. At least our temperatures are cooler now.
beautiful turning tree! We have had multiple days a 100 degree plus here so fall ins NOT in the air yet.ill.
What a beautiful tree. It would make a very pretty painting!
Hi Linda, Gorgeous photo…. I can't wait 'til we get some of that color down here. We don't have much yet….. Hope you all have a great weekend.Hugs,Betsy
I love that tree! We are beginning to change here as well. I've seen quite a few reds and oranges in the our neighborhood maples, but so many are still green though. Oh, I like your comment about “leaving comments.“
Beautiful fall colors. I have not seen much changing around here yet. Have a great weekend, Linda!
Linda, the leaves are a-changin. We just returned from a trip back east and drove many miles amidst wooded area with signs of subtle color changes. Perhaps my favorite time of the year.
wow linda. this is cool. we aren't seeing much color yet in illinois. i hope to see more color here and oregon / washington in the next few weeks. keep on shooting!nikonsniper steve
Beautiful! The leaves have little color here yet and since it was so dry I don't think they will reach peak beauty. Thanks for sharing your photo of the elk on Gray Hill. That was very dramatic and close. I spent the last two weeks in Benezette saw a lot of bulls.
The colors of the leaves always remind me of “flames” – reaching toward the sky. Gorgeous tree!
The leaves turning orange/red, and then falling off… Signals that fresh ones will soon come up…Yes its great!
It's a lovely tree Linda, and you have captured it well. Happy Sunday!
Beautiful fall shot! Jean
We are not quite to the color change here yet, just had a lovely week in the 80s, though that may have been the last we'll see of those temps. Cooler today, definitely! Beautiful shot, I love the colors and the crisp look of the leaves!
Hi Linda, those are the views i haven't seen yet, the Autumn Leaves. I've seen spring but not yet Autumn and i feel like it is the most endearing view i must see in this lifetime. It will be the start of looking for them, and envy them from blogposts. thanks
Lindagreat shot!!It is time to see the colours of fall.Enjoy, Gisela”Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.”- Stanley Horowitz
