Have You Ever …
Have you ever driven by a scenic spot and say (or think) you’ll stop next time to take a picture? We have driven by the location shown in the following two photographs too many times to count. Each time we’ve driven by this particular location I would say “that is pretty”. Bob has asked each time I’ve made that comment if I want him to turn around so I can get a picture. My reply each time has been “no, just keep going”. Well, yesterday, when the scene presented itself and when Bob asked if I wanted him to turn around after I had made my customary comment, I answered “YES!”.

This scene was on one side of the road.

This scene was on the other side of the road.
It was worth stopping to photograph these scenes, don’t you agree?
Where were we going, you might ask, when we passed by this stream? We were on our way to a Halloween party.

Halloween Decorations
The Halloween party was not at this house. We couldn’t, however, resist making a stop at this house to take a few pictures. It sure was well decorated for Halloween! More photographs of the decorations at this house follow.

I am so glad you stopped! Those first two shots are breathtaking! Hope you had a great party! But I have to admit…the Halloween yard was wild!
I'm glad you finally stopped to capture the fall colors and you can sure tell what the favorite holiday of the people in that house is. A little over the top for me, but, I guess, fun for them.
Yes – I have said “next time” and then missed out on what I wanted to capture. Glad you stopped! They sure are pretty!

worth stopping at that beautiful nature scenery.OMG, those people seem to celebrate a lot,, so much effort for just a few days. I wonder what it looks like at Christmastime…
I'm glad you changed your mind and stopped to take pictures of the scenic spot. It certainly deserves many pictures.I don't think I've ever seen a house so decorated for Halloween as the one you showed.
Nope, I stop every time, now. Of course I'm retired and roam the back roads most days with a camera in my lap and a Lab at my side but I always stop!
Those first two shots are simply stunning! Where are they?Love the Halloween house. 🙂 Now people can see why it's second only to Christmas in decorating and third for shopping.
@Gretchen – I took the top two photographs along Blue Jay Road (Rt. 1003) in Howe Twp.
Stunning view you stopped at . I would also. You really had a good time out with your camera. I really enjoyed your blog.
Those first 2 pictures are so beautiful. Now that house looks like something my little girl would have enjoyed looking at too!
