Back Yard Guests
I haven’t gotten much done around the house the past few days because I have been watching the wildlife in our back yard!

Downy Woodpecker

Male Cardinal
Yesterday this squirrel was content to eat bird seed that had fallen to the ground. Today Mr. Squirrel decided he’d have better pickings, if he ate from the bird feeder!

Those are great pictures. The squirrel is so cute!
Looks like the animals love your place. I enjoyed your pics.
I know the squirrels have to eat also—BUT????? I don't want them eating my birdfood….Grrrrrrrr…Cute pictures, Linda…Love the Downy. That is a fabulous picture.Hugs,Betsy
The squirrels around our house act exactly the same way!You got some great pictures of your birds.
I just throw seed on the ground for my squirrels…they sure go through it in short order.
Linda, I well know the feeling of not getting anything done around the house because the birds and other wildlife outdoors provide such entertainment. The woodpecker closeup and the curious squirrel were my favorites in this series. Great shots!
I so enjoy your views of nature's critters! Today's squirrel pictures are so true to form with those here in my neck of the woods! They are the same little thieves here!
Hi Linda i have not commented for a while, but i see your posts thru feeds. I always love your photos. It looks like your winter is very long, while we are here just had a glimpse of colder temp from the Northeasterly winds and now starting to be hot again. That care facility in your neighborhood is an uncaring facility, haha!
Linda, Your bird and squirrel photos are fabulous. Much better to watch the wildlife than clean the house! I can see every feather on that woodpecker – beautiful markings.
LOL a flying squirrel, but he's not. Sure doesn't take them long to figure it out. Great shot of the Downy Woodpecker too.
Linda, wonderful shots of your birds and the cute squirrel. I love the first shot of the Downy Woodpecker.
