It’s a Girl!

We have a new addition in our family.
I received a text last night from my friend, Simone. “Hey. You want a cat?”
After a volley of texts back and forth, Bob and I decided to adopt Simone’s cat, dubbed “Cali Cat” by her 2-year-old son.
Simone has had the cat since September/October, last year, when it was weaned from the mother cat. Simone is sad to give away her cat; however, she cannot give it the attention it wants. Simone knows we will give the cat a good home.
“Has she had any shots?, I asked Simone. “No, she’s never been to the vet.”
I asked, “Is she an indoor cat?” Simone’s response was “Yes. She is scared of outside.”

We are renaming the cat.
She will be known as Patches from this day forward.
Welcome home, Patches!
