On Wednesday, May 11th, we drove from our home in Warren PA to Leeper PA, a distance of approximately 47 miles. Our destination was the Rail 66 Country Trail trailhead. We parked off Route 66 in the Car Mate parking lot next to the trail. From the Leeper trailhead we rode our bicycles, south, to […]

It has been 8 months since I last published a blog post for ”Bicycling the beauty around us”. Our last bicycle ride in 2021 was in September. So far this year we have bicycled in our neighborhood, and we rode our bicycles at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island in Virginia. We bicycled a […]

Our wedding anniversary was this past Sunday, on September 26th. We decided to take an anniversary trip to Confluence PA, where we spent 3 nights at an Airbnb. We brought our bicycles with us. Around 10:00 am on Monday, September 27th, we left on a bicycle ride. Entry to the Great Allegheny Passage was a […]

We vacationed the week of June 25 through July 2 in Hudson, Ohio. We brought our bicycles with us, intending to bicycle the entire Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park several times during the week. Because of extreme heat and high humidity and rain we ended up riding only a […]

Oh My Heart…. I LOVE it, Linda…. Bet that water really rushes –especially with the snow melt….. Fabulous… Thanks for posting it…. (We'll visit you soon!!!!! ha ha —I wish!)Hugs,Betsy
Linda the photos of the falls are so beautiful, but I have to admit that the green in the picture along with the snow gave a real sense of the beauty of the place. I wonder if it's that, or am I just SO ready for spring? 🙂
very nice place.
Lovely photo of the waterfalls, Linda! I know george and Betsy will love it. Have a great Sunday!
That is a very beautiful waterfall!
Wow Linda, it's a lovely cascades from the melting snow. So there must be lots of this scenes you can see in those areas! So beautiful, what about a very slow shutter shot! I am sure Betsy and George will love it.
It's absolutely gorgeous!!! It's starting to warm up a bit, so Arielle promised to drive me up to see you some weekend. Just let us know when you're free. :)I'd love to go photograph this place, too!
Linda, if you wait for the snow to dry up, the waterfalls might already be not as big, because maybe most of the water came from the melting snow. How i wish i am there too! thanks.
Thank you for thinking of us and sharing the pretty waterfall with us. This is another waterfall we would enjoy seeing in person.
I'm a big fan of waterfalls too. Although I like this with the snow for winter, I'll bet it's even prettier in the spring with lots of green around it. Very nice of you to post it for your friend.
Beautiful, Linda!
Love your waterfall. Darryl and Ruth : )
I think your camera and you are capturing some cool sites!
