Today is the first day of Spring. Bob and I started the day with breakfast at the Train Station, a restaurant located in our hometown.
My husband has lived most of his life in our hometown. The Train Station has been serving food for as long as he can remember. The food quality is excellent; prices are affordable; and the service is great.
We enjoyed our breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage (Bob), and pancakes (me). Bob’s breakfast didn’t include any toast, home fries or pancakes because he is on a low carbohydrate diet. He is doing well on the diet. He started watching carbohydrates the middle of February. He had been cutting back on food prior to going on the low carbohydrate diet. He has lost a total of 23 pounds, 15 of them since the middle of February.
After breakfast we went on a drive around the Allegheny Reservoir, the subject of my next blog post.
