Mother’s Day Visitors
Here are some visitors who came to our backyard on Mother’s Day.

Male Cardinal

As soon as he saw me, he started to sing 🙂

Rabbit

Robin in a Tree

Robin in flight!
Later in the evening, Bob made a fire. We cooked hot dogs over the fire. A little later Stacey dropped by to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. She had stopped earlier in the day, but we weren’t home. We had gone on a motorcycle ride, which I will blog about later. Stacey gave me a card for Mother’s Day. Inside the card was written:
As soon as I read Stacey’s message, I said “apple fritter”. I really like Tim Horton’s apple fritters. After thinking over my response, I told Stacey that I would like a Black Forest Cherry Cake. Stacey promised me both an apple fritter and a Black Forest Cherry Cake. I’ll share the cake with friends. The apple fritter is all mine!

Your robin in flight picture made me say, “Oh, that is cool” right out loud. Enjoy your delightful sweets. They sound like awesome choices.
Hi Linda, I love your picnic pavilion set-up in your yard… I'd be sitting out there all of the time I'm sure –and I wouldn't get much reading done either… ha haGreat pictures…. That is nice of Stacey. Save me a bite of your apple fritter… Yum..Hugs,Betsy
Great photos of the cardinal, and I like the robin in action!
Great shots of the cardinals. I think they 're my favorite bird, and the one picture looks like that red fellow is singing out!
