Allegheny National Forest
We made one stop in the forest. That stop was alongside the East Branch Tionesta Creek.

We had hoped to see some deer, maybe a bear, while riding through the scenic area. The only wildlife we saw were birds. It was a pleasant drive all the same, and one that I am sure we will make again someday.

Great photos as always Linda, and I like how you include the map in your post. I enjoy looking at it.
Hi Linda, looks like a pretty place. It would be cool to see a bear. I love to see any kind of wildlife including the birds.
Beautiful place –just my type of place!!!!! As I said, we've been in the Smokies for the past few days… OH how I love those mountains…Thanks for showing the map. That helps. Hugs,Betsy
Scenic areas like this are always a pleasure. We drove through Cades Cove in the Smokies on Sunday. We saw lots of deer and turkeys, but no bears this time.
That looks like a very beautiful place!
It seems like we see wildlife when we least expect it, and even where we least expect it sometimes.
And a Happy New Year to you and your big loving family. It is a joy to see that you have what is really important in life… couldn't happen to a nicer more loving person. May it continue throughout the coming year!
