Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!
We’ve no place to go. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
I decided not to attend my niece’s baby shower today because of the inclement weather conditions. It is a 2-hour drive from here to the location of the baby shower. I didn’t relish the idea of driving on slick, snow-covered roads. I wouldn’t have enjoyed the shower either, as I would be wondering about the road conditions for on the way back home.

Wise to stay home! Better to be safe! Cynthia
Hi, Glad you are not going to attend the shower. Oh –how I despise those things especially when they play those stupid games… Just stay home and enjoy the snow!!!!!! Ours is almost gone. Hugs,Betsy
I stayed in today too … my hubby went for a walk by himself.
I'm sure your niece understood why you weren't there. Too bad you missed out on visiting with relatives and winning prizes for baby bingo and what's in the diaper. 🙂

Wise choice. I attended a Grandparents Day a couple years ago at which is usually a 2 hr. drive. It started with the freezing rain, turned to snow and both, needless to say, a guardian angel led me home after a 6 1/2 hr. drive. Not a trip to redo. Glad you chose to stay home. Your niece will understand.BlessYourHeart
Hi Linda, I always say better to be safe than sorry. The snow looks pretty. I just hope it isn't coming this way. Have a great weekend!
We had one day like that, but not much though we did get 13 inches accord to my snow gauge. How much did you get?
We received about 8 inches of snow, Ciss B. This was less than what was in the forecast.
I think you were wise to stay home Linda. I know your niece would understand and would also be worried about your journey home I'm sure.
