On Wednesday, May 11th, we drove from our home in Warren PA to Leeper PA, a distance of approximately 47 miles. Our destination was the Rail 66 Country Trail trailhead. We parked off Route 66 in the Car Mate parking lot next to the trail. From the Leeper trailhead we rode our bicycles, south, to […]

It has been 8 months since I last published a blog post for ”Bicycling the beauty around us”. Our last bicycle ride in 2021 was in September. So far this year we have bicycled in our neighborhood, and we rode our bicycles at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island in Virginia. We bicycled a […]

Our wedding anniversary was this past Sunday, on September 26th. We decided to take an anniversary trip to Confluence PA, where we spent 3 nights at an Airbnb. We brought our bicycles with us. Around 10:00 am on Monday, September 27th, we left on a bicycle ride. Entry to the Great Allegheny Passage was a […]

We vacationed the week of June 25 through July 2 in Hudson, Ohio. We brought our bicycles with us, intending to bicycle the entire Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park several times during the week. Because of extreme heat and high humidity and rain we ended up riding only a […]

Yesterday we went on our first bicycle ride this year outside of Warren. We transported our bicycles to the Quaker Run area of Allegany State Park. We met our friend Liz at the Quaker General Store. The three of us rode the new Quaker Run Multi-Use Trail (3.2 miles round trip). We didn’t realize that […]

Great shots of the birds Linda, and I see you have those suet cakes I don't in my photo 😉 The squirrels seems to think that they are theirs and theirs alone, and go through them like it is the last one they will see for the rest of the winter. Have a great week.
HI Linda, you have a great view of the birds and the sky! Beautiful birds and photos.
The change of a day and the birds…all making life more grand.BlessYourHeart and ThanksForStopping
Beautiful shots. Great results from simply rearranging your office. Darryl and Ruth 🙂
You do have a great view now… WOW—don't know if I'd get any computer work done… ha..Great pictures of the birds… I'm not crazy about Starlings –but I love Juncos and Downys.Hugs,Betsy
You've got a great view from your office chair now. It's a great way to watch the birds on a snowy day.
Beautiful photos, Linda. It is great to have a view like that from your office. I is also good to see some snow in your photos. There is none here yet and I hate to see it come in one way, but in another I would like the change of scenery and resulting improved photo opportunities that it brings.
Love your bird pics! We haven't seem starlings around here for a while, which I hate to say I do not miss because they are such bullies at the feeders. The view must be wonderful seeing the feeders! Mine are by my kitchen window and I have to be doing dishes to watch..but I sneak a peak every once in a while anyway!
Its always good to have a home office. You can rearrange things as you want. You can have an awesome view and the best part is that you can photograph whatever you want and there is no one who is going to question you!Lucky youRam
That is so cool! I love your bird pictures:)
What lovely snap showing the birds and your view. How lucky to have such a beautiful office location.
The bird shots are wonderful!
Very nice photos, Linda! We had one day of snow here in October, but none since. Very unusual. Thanks for sharing your photos. So glad you enjoy your new office layout. It sounds great!
Great shots, I don't get snow on my feeders here in California.
Great photos of the birds.
