On Wednesday, May 11th, we drove from our home in Warren PA to Leeper PA, a distance of approximately 47 miles. Our destination was the Rail 66 Country Trail trailhead. We parked off Route 66 in the Car Mate parking lot next to the trail. From the Leeper trailhead we rode our bicycles, south, to […]

It has been 8 months since I last published a blog post for ”Bicycling the beauty around us”. Our last bicycle ride in 2021 was in September. Our wedding anniversary was this past Sunday, on September 26th. We decided to take an anniversary trip to Confluence PA, where we spent 3 nights at an Airbnb. We brought our bicycles with us. Around 10:00 am on Monday, September 27th, we left on a bicycle ride. Entry to the Great Allegheny Passage was a […]

Linda, I have the same bug as you. I guess it is very contagious. I love your bird photos. The swallow shots are awesome and the goldie shot is beautiful. And the Rose Breasted Grosbeak is one of my favorite birds, they are gorgeous. Wonderful post, have a great weekend!

Linda, these are wonderful photos. The bug is contagious…in case you haven't noticed.
Those are all wonderful, Linda. Perfect. I miss the golden finches. They only come down during winter and didn't stay very long because of the warmth. I've never seen the first one. Keep posting. Love them.
Now that's the kind of bug that you don't mind catching. The photos are fantastic Linda.
Ahh this is so cool. What stunning shots!
I have that same bug –for some reason… ha ha … Great photos. I especially love the Rose Breasted Grosbeaks… They usually stop by our home in May –but we missed them this year (guess we were at the beach).
