I have seen black squirrels before, but I had never seen one in our back yard until today.
The black squirrel was helping itself to the bird seed that falls to the ground from our bird feeder.
All of a sudden a loud roar was heard coming up our driveway.
Black Squirrel Startled
The loud roar was Bob coming home from work, riding his motorcycle. The squirrel skedaddled across the back yard and up a tree soon after I took this picture.

That little guy is so cute!!
Funny thing is he waited a few minutes to skeedaddle after I circled round the driveway to park the bike, at one point headed right toward him! After I shut the bike off, we had a stare down 🙂
