Independence Day 2012
The thunderstorm that rolled through at noon today and left us without any power for 4 hours did not dampen our spirits. We enjoyed our Independence Day holiday to the max because we spent the day with Stacey, Mike and our two granddaughters. Bob grilled hamburgers and hot dogs over a wood fire (after the rain stopped falling). We chose to have an indoor picnic, as temperatures quickly climbed from the upper 60s to the upper 90s after the thunderstorm. In addition to the hamburgers and hot dogs we enjoyed potato salad, baked beans, watermelon and, for dessert, ice cream sandwiches.

It looks as if you had a perfect Fourth of July, even with the rain.
Wow—you couldn’t ask for a better way to spend the 4th… Those precious babies are adorable… I’m sure you don’t agree… ha ha
What a fun day! I love the pictures of the girls. They are just adorable!
Adorable pictures of those sweet grandbabies Linda. Lovely one with mum and dad too. Glad you had such a great 4th.
Sorry, I am late visiting. Looks like you all had a great 4th of July. Wonderful photos. Love the babies. Have a great day, Linda!
I bet you would have been happy with a bologna sandwich with those babies around!
