Weekend Visit in Cuyahoga County, Ohio: Cuyahoga Valley National Park (Post #2)
Our second stop in Cuyahoga Valley National Park was at Brandywine Falls which, at 65 feet high, is one of Ohio’s highest waterfalls. A boardwalk takes you to upper and lower observation platforms.

A portion of the boardwalk winds around big rocks.
There hasn’t been much rainfall, so there is very little falling water. I very much want to return to the park to see the water rushing over the rocks!

Brandywine Falls

I took this photograph of the falls from the upper observation platform. Isn’t the silky smooth appearance of the falling water pretty?
If you missed our first stop in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, you will find information about that stop here. I will share photographs from our third stop in my next blog post.

Hi Linda, I would have recognized the platform –but not the waterfall… Unbelievable the difference since we were there last Sept. We have been in Arkansas –and it’s extremely dry here and HOT. Even the Buffalo River is almost dried up… Kinda sad…
Hugs,
Betsy
That’s a great place to visit, really neat photos and I liked the one of you at the bottom of the steps also. Quite a climb!!!
This would be a wonderful place to visit…I would just want to stop and enjoy the view.
Wonderful photographs! I am thinking about visiting this in June…I can’t wait!
Thank you, Cindy. I hope that my husband and I have the opportunity to return to Cuyahoga Valley National Park sometime this year.
