It’s a Start
While I was taking a shower yesterday morning, Bob put up the Christmas tree. I was surprised, when I saw the Christmas tree, as I didn’t know Bob was going to put it up.
This is the second Christmas that Patches has been with Bob and me.

Patches under Christmas tree
Patches likes the Christmas tree. I think she believes we put it up for her. Patches behaves pretty well with the Christmas tree in the house. We do have to discipline her from time to time. A squirt or two from a water bottle stops the undesired behavior, at least for a while.
I am going through totes today, looking for our Christmas tree ornaments. This season, when I put away the Christmas decorations, I will put all the ornaments in a separate tote and mark the tote as containing ornaments.

Hi Linda, I laughed at you talking about the water bottle. My son and DIL use a water bottle to discipline Henry, their little dog…. He is scared to death of that bottle!!!!!!
Bet your tree is gorgeous…. We have ours up too now–and are enjoying it.
Hugs,
Betsy
I really like the picture of Patches under the Christmas tree. She looks good under there, so I can understand why she thinks it was put up for her. I only hope the squirt bottle keeps her from trying to climb the tree.
Oh, wow, a climbing tree with lights!
The water bottle trick is one my friends used to keep their sparring cats at bay until they got used to each other. Loved the photos of Patches. We will be putting our Christmas Tree up today. Have a great week Linda!
The first year I had the cats I have now, I had to get all unbreakable ornaments! And Bubbie and Puss Puss were both in the tree a couple different times.
I did not realize you had had Patches that long! Time sure does fly. She is a pretty girl.
