Babysitting
I watched my granddaughters, Harper and June, for a couple hours at their home this afternoon. I spent about 45 minutes talking with my stepdaughter and playing with the babies.

Harper and June will be walking soon. The girls used my legs to get into an upright position. That’s when I took the last two pictures shown above.
Stacey and I put the girls down for a nap at 1:15 pm, at which time Stacey left to take care of a few errands. I told Stacey to take her time, enjoy a couple hours of freedom.
Mike surprised me by coming home from work at 2:15 pm. Today is Mike’s birthday. I am happy that he came home from work early, otherwise I would not have seen him today. Because Mike came home early from work I was able personally to give him the birthday card and gift from Bob and me. Mike and I chatted for a few minutes. He, then, asked if I would mind him going to the store. I told Mike that I did not mind, after all I hadn’t expected him to come home from work early anyway.
Stacey was the first to return home from taking care of errands. Mike followed shortly thereafter. The babies awakened soon afterward.
Here are two parting pictures, as I was heading out the door to return home.

Bye-bye girls; Nana loves you and will see you again soon!
