Happy Birthday Brian!

Beth, Brian’s wife, surprised him with a birthday party this past Saturday evening.  The party was held at McCulla’s Steakhouse here in Warren, PA.  Attendees included mainly family members and a few friends, including Bob and I.  Bob and Brian are coworkers and have worked together for the past 10+ years.

 

Brian saw his grandson first, whom he scooped up into his arms.  Brian then noticed Bob and Garry (another coworker) at the table and said to Beth “you didn’t!”.  Beth’s reply was “yes, I did”.  Beth pulled it off.  She threw a surprise birthday party for Brian’s 50th birthday.

We enjoyed our prime rib dinners, followed by cupcakes for dessert, and the never-ending conversation.  We met several new people, three of Brian and Beth’s friends as well as their oldest son Steve and his family.  We have seen so many pictures and have heard so many stories about their grandson, Ben.  It was very good to finally meet him in person.

Happy birthday Brian!  Bob and I enjoyed celebrating your 5oth birthday with you!
