Not What Was Intended
This morning, while sitting in the living room reading today’s newspaper, I caught movement across the window on the opposite end of the room. I went to the window and saw a blue jay, my first sighting this year. I went to get my camera. When I returned to the living room window, the blue jay was gone. However, there were several juncos about. Juncos don’t stay still for long, so I kept focusing and re-focusing. At one point I think I moved away from my viewfinder, momentarily, with a sigh. As I moved away from the viewfinder, I saw an animal looking at ME!

Hey bunny rabbit!
I felt better about my photo opportunities through that window, after the rabbit so nicely posed for me. I saw another junco, lowered my eye to the viewfinder, focused on the junco’s eye and captured this photograph.

Dark-Eyed Junco
Neither of these photographs were what was intended. I wanted a photograph of that blue jay. Well, maybe next time.

Great picture of your Junco. We have bunnies in the summer –and they eat my Impatiens (which I don’t bother to grow anymore)….
Hope you are having a good day.. Quite pretty here today–although still cool.
Hugs,
Betsy
Both are photos to be proud of. Tack sharp!
Great pics…. I like the one you took of a rabbit a while back – you could see the detail in the bunny ears, almost transparent
Nice of the bunny rabbit to come and encourage you!
