Feathered Friends
Earlier this month I shared a photograph of a female rose-breasted grosbeak but wrote that I had not yet seen the male rose-breasted grosbeak. Soon after that post was updated, I did spot a male rose-breasted grosbeak and have seen it several times this month. Until today, though, I hadn’t had a chance to photograph him.

Male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak
In addition to the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, a few other birds visited our feeders today.

Robin
I believe both of these birds are White-Crowned Sparrow. The bird on top is an immature white-crowned sparrow; whereas the bird on the bottom is a mature white-crowned sparrow.

You got a great picture of the Grosbeak, but all of your photos of your backyard visitors are wonderful.

Beautiful photographs, Linda. We had a Grosbeak here over the weekend, but I didn’t get a photo.
