Ducks
Bob and I went for a motorcycle ride this past Sunday. We rode from Warren, Pennsylvania, to Dunkirk, New York. From Dunkirk we rode along Lake Erie to Barcelona Harbor. From Barcelona we rode through Westfield and Jamestown before returning home. I am breaking up our ride into three blog posts. Wednesday’s blog post showcased the historic Dunkirk Lighthouse. Thursday’s blog post showcased sights at Barcelona Harbor. In today’s blog post I share photographs of ducks.
As we were passing through Jamestown, we made a brief stop alongside the Chadakoin River. We passed our time watching and photographing Mallard ducks.

When we first arrived at Chadakoin River, the ducks were lying on the river’s stone wall.

Soon after we arrived, the ducks began coming towards us.
I believe the ducks were looking for handouts.
We didn’t feed the ducks.

The baby ducks got real close.
I thought it funny that the ducks approached us; however, as soon as I took a step in their direction they either walked quickly away or flew into the river.

Love the baby ducks and your blog. Funny I live right her and never go down there. Guess I will have to make a stop there if it ever quits raining.
Sweet photos of the ducks Linda and a great one of the one flying away.
Wishing you a great day,

Cute shots of the ducks, Linda! It is best not to feed them. Have a great weekend!
