Music in the Park: Border Ride
Each summer, residents and visitors alike have the opportunity to attend free Music in the Park concerts held on most Friday evenings at Soldiers and Sailors park, located along the banks of the Allegheny River, in the heart of downtown Warren. This year’s Music in the Park program began on June 7 and ends on September 6. Music genres includes rock, country, bluegrass, and jazz. Bob and I attended this past Friday night’s Border Ride concert.

Border Ride is a bluegrass band. We enjoyed very much listening to the 2-hour concert. Each band member performs passionately. In addition to the music, we enjoyed the dynamics of the band. Border Ride has fun, while performing.
Scott and Cathy Pearson are not the only musical members of their family. We enjoyed performances by their son.

We enjoyed performances by their daughter too.
Here is a short video clip that I created from three video captures. The video will give you some idea of Border Ride’s impressive musical talent.
If you would like to learn more about this wonderful bluegrass band, you may do so by visiting the Border Ride website. If you enjoy bluegrass music and have the opportunity to do so, please take in one of Border Ride’s concerts. You will not be disappointed!

Another great post Linda. I loved your pictures and post about this band. Sounds like a lot of fun and I think my toes would be tapping as I also enjoyed the video. It might surprise you to know that this “English” loves listening to Bluegrass music 🙂
Wishing you a happy day,

Linda, sounds like a fun time listening to the bluegrass music. Great shots!
Excellent photos and video of the band. That brings back a lot of memories. I played banjo in a band called the “Sounds of Grass” from about 1985 until 1994. I still play at home, but don’t play in a regular band. I enjoyed the bands music.
Wow, they are great…so glad you included the video!
