We’ve Been Flocked
Our coat closet is next to our front door. Our front door has three small windows that allow you to see outside. As I hanging a coat in the closet, I glanced outside. Boy was I surprised by what I saw on our front lawn! There was a flock of flamingos in our front lawn!
I opened the front door and found taped to the glass storm door was this note:

Cynthia is Bob’s sister.
I went outside and took a couple more pictures of the flock of flamingos.
The flamingos will spend 24 hours in our yard, before flying somewhere else.
Thank you for our lawn decoration, Cynthia!

Fun time
Reminds me of when my hubby turned 50. I arranged for 50 flamingos to be set up in our front yard with a sign that was supposed to say “Lordy, lordy, no more forty, Ain’t it nifty, Bob is fifty” They had promised to set it up quietly in the very early a.m. However, they were so noisy and even kept their van running while they placed the flamingos at 5 a.m. He was a neighbourhood watchman so was up investigating right away and reading the sign that said “Bob ain’t fifty lordy forty nifty Bob ” or some mess up like that Taught me not to do business over the phone….
So nice to have good friends Linda.
Love it…. They used to do something like this down here –but not for cancer research… It was kinda like the ‘rolling your house with t-paper’ used to be… I hadn’t heard of doing it for cancer… I like that idea.
NOW–what do you do??? Pass it on to another person’s yard????
Hugs,
Betsy
I am having the flamingos delivered to someone else’s house.
How cool, what fun and a neat surprise on your lawn!
