Six Years
Today marks a 6-year anniversary for me. I published my first blog post on March 1, 2009. My blog was entitled “Linda’s Photo Journal” at that time, and I used the Blogger platform to publish my blog posts. I migrated to the WordPress blogging platform in October 2012 and created a new blog entitled “Days to Remember”. I republished “Linda’s Photo Journal” blog posts into the new blog. In November 2014 I went live with “The Beauty Around Us” website, which soon afterward incorporated my “Days to Remember” blog. “The Beauty Around Us” website makes use of the “Photography” premium theme that I purchased for $68.00 in February 2013.
Throughout my six years of blogging I have maintained the original intent of my blog, that being “to capture a moment in time and place, preserving that moment through my photographs and words, so that I might share that particular slice of time with others”. I like my blog’s new home, as part of “The Beauty Around Us” website.

Congrats, Linda… I started Blogging in June of 2006 at Lightblog. Changed to Blogger in 2009…. It’s been a great ride for both of us….
