Spring Thaw
We have had 5 days of Spring thaw, counting today. The grass is beginning to reappear in our back yard, albeit a small patch.

Behind the picnic pavilion, I can even make out the top of our fire pit.
If the weather forecast holds true, much of this snow should be gone by Saturday night. Rain is forecast for Friday night and all day Saturday.

Spring can’t come soon enough!
Hard to believe the Weather Network is calling this the warmest winter on record! I’ve got that bit of grass too. IF the rest of that white stuff disappears on schedule, I’ll have crocuses Within 3 weeks. I’ll believe that when I see it!!!
We have been so lucky here on the west coast, winter didn’t happen, at least no snow or ice. But of course rain, and that’s what it is that soaks right thru you and chills you to the bone. But now the trees are blooming, heather, forsythia, daphne and i are basking in the warmth of the sun.
not fair to east coast ,coldest winter on record, some places seen record snow fall we still have a foot or so of snow on ground, and snowing all day. WE GOT CRAPED ON THIS WINTER.
