This past Saturday evening we went to the Warren County Fair with friends. We met Scott and Donna at the Perkins Restaurant parking lot around 6:00 pm and rode our motorcycles to the fair from there. The ride to the fair was nice, but somewhat exciting. A car passed ahead of us and ran an oncoming car off the road!
While at the fair we watched Stock Car Football. This is the second stock car football event that I have attended since 1998. I should go more often, as I had a fun time. It is one of the highlights of the Warren County Fair and is included with the fair admission.
Stock car football was exciting, as we saw cars on top of the ball and a car that rolled over. No one was hurt. Three girls in the pink cars won the Stock Car Football Super Bowl.
After Stock Car Football, we watched Figure 8 racing. I believe this was a new event for the Warren County Fair and was enjoyable.
The figure 8 racing was followed by fireworks.
The fireworks display was followed by the demolition derby, which I didn’t photograph. The demolition derby ended when one car was left still able to run.
We had a great time at the fair and did not return home until around 11:00 pm.
