Back Yard Birds
One of my favorite pastimes is watching and photographing the birds that show up in our back yard. Goldfinches are very prominent at our bird feeders.
First there was one goldfinch.
Then there were two goldfinches.
Three goldfinches, enjoying the bird feeder.
From time to time I see both a male and female cardinal.
Today I spotted a female cardinal.
Around 4:00 pm I spotted a new bird for this year at our feeder. I was really excited when I saw this bird. I said to Bob, rather emphatically, “look what’s outside!”. He thought there was a bear! There wasn’t a bear outside. The Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks have arrived!
One of TWO Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks at our Bird Feeder!

All beauties Linda, nicely captured.
Great bird close ups Linda. You have one that I don’t get to see, the Grosbeak and rarely the goldfinches.
Wonderful shots, Linda. It is so enjoyable to watch them at the feeder.
