Gobbler’s Knob
We attended a birthday party this past Sunday (May 1st). In a few days I will share a blog post about the birthday party. In the meantime, I want to share with you what we saw on our way home from the party.
On our way home from Greensburg, PA we made a brief stop at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney.

The “Punxsy Phil” Sign
Gobbler’s Knob is where Phil, the groundhog, makes his annual weather prediction.
Gobbler’s Knob is located a couple of miles outside of Punxsutawney, in a little clearing at the top of a wooded hill.
We are at Gobbler’s Knob.
the big stage
The stage is not roped off. We walked up the stairs onto the stage.
Phil’s tree stump remains in place throughout the year.
This was my husband and my first visit to Gobbler’s Knob. I don’t think I would like going on February 2nd, as it would be too crowded for my taste!

Remember our reunions there.
It is nice to see where Phil hangs out.
Hi Linda, it is neat to see the place where Phil lives. He is famous! Enjoy your day!
I have often thought abut visiting that area
