Introducing Wickett
Bob’s daughter, Stacey, asked Bob and me to come to her house the afternoon of August 26, 2007 to see “something”. The “something” was her kitten, Wickett.
Baby Wickett
Fast forward 9 1/2 years …
Soon after our cat, Patches, passed away earlier this year Stacey asked us to keep in mind Wickett, if we decided to get another cat. Stacey said that our 4-year-old granddaughters and the two other cats in her house caused stress for Wickett. She knew that Wickett would like living with Bob and me, as an only cat, in our quiet, kid free home.
Wickett joined our household on February 26, 2017. It has been almost 48 hours since Wickett arrived in our home. She is slowly acclimating to her new home.

Isn’t she beautiful!
Welcome to your new home, Wickett! Thank you, Stacey, for such a wonderful gift of love!

She is very beautiful!!
Thank you Carol!
She is very beautiful Linda! And one you’ve had a cat, it is hard to not have one of those special critters! I came home to my Bella after two weeks across country and in Northern California and she LOVES having me back, and I love being back with her too.
P.S. I love her looking out the window at the bird feeder!
I hope that you have many pictures to share of your cross country trip!
I do and am getting them together!
Wickett is indeed beautiful. I’m sure she’ll like her new home.
Wickett is lots more relaxed, than she was earlier today. You are correct, George, Wickett does like her new home.
Congrats… What a gorgeous cat… Love her ‘markings’ and her eyes… Beautiful!!! Yes–she (and I) would prefer a quiet, kid-free home!!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy
