The First Snow of the 2020-2021 Winter Season
Yes, I am blogging again.
It has been a little more than a year since my last “The Beauty Around Us”blog post. Have I lost my blogging friends? I hope not!
I want to share with you a couple pictures that I just took of the snow that fell overnight at my home in NW Pennsylvania.

We had new front porch steps and a handrail installed late summer.

The bird feeder is a bit top heavy.
Don’t you just love the first snowfall of the season? I do!

I love the snow pictures! We haven’t had any that has stayed yet. Glad you’re back!
I am happy to be back and hope to stay that way. I am glad to see you stuck around 🙂
Hello,
No snow here yet. It does look pretty. I have that same bird feeder, the squirrels love it.. LOL
Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
I will admit that this snow is beautiful, but I’m just not ready for Old Man Winter to put in an appearance . We had a freeze last night (no snow) and will again tonight. But at least the sun is shining brightly now.
Welcome back, Linda. I am still blogging –but only once a week, and don’t seem to have time to do much more. We did have a great Smokies/Cherohala Skyway trip last month… We just happened to be there at the perfect time… Glad you saw the pictures…
Yes, I’m having a 2nd Ablation tomorrow… The first one in 2019 worked great for about 9 months.. Hoping this one will do even better… I just happen to be one of those A Fib people who cannot take those powerful meds. They make me almost sicker than having A Fib… It’s been a rough 2020 for me –for so many reasons.. SO–I’m looking forward to 2021.
I assume you all did not get to Maggie this year –due to Covid… Been a crazy year!
Hugs,
Betsy
No, we did not make it to Maggie this year. We did, however, spend a few days in Gettysburg PA and a week at the Outer Banks. Later this month we have plans to spend a few days in Virginia on Chincoteague Island. It hasn’t been a regular travel year for us, but we have managed to get out some. I pray 2021 will be better for all of us!
Great pictures. I’ve missed your blogs.
Hi Linda, Thanks so much for your comment on my recent blog post, so that i could return the favor and happily learn that you are back to blogging. Glad to know. You got way more show than we did here in Nashua, NH last Friday. Still, it was so pretty and your snowfall even more so. Yes, we DO like the first (and every) snowfall of the winter, even if it hasn’t “officially” arrived yet. Sadly, the trees and late blooms were really taken by surprise by the snow and sudden cold snap.
Forgot to ask, Linda, would it be OK with you if I included your blog on my sidebar listing? I always like to check with fellow bloggers first.
Yes, you may. Your blog is on my sidebar listing. Blogs that I follow, via WordPress Reader, automatically appear on my sidebar. If you would rather your blog not appear in my sidebar, please let me know so that I can remove you from my WordPress Reader. If your blog isn’t in my WordPress Reader, it will still be in my Feedly app, from where I read blogs that I follow.
Welcome back, Linda G. No snow here in Eastern Pa. yet. It will be coming soon enough.
Hello my friend, it is so good to see you back 🙂 Pretty pictures and loving the fact that you are posting again.
