Crazy Weather
This afternoon we went for a short walk in our neighborhood.
I live in northwestern Pennsylvania. What crazy weather! It is January 1st. There is no snow, and the temperature was 53 degrees during our walk. The weather is crazy, but I like it. I would love today’s weather, if the sun was out!

Happy New Year to you! Enjoy your balmy weather while you can! It is warm here in Florida too, but cooler air is on its way I hear. Just praying no bad stuff comes with it like storms. Of course here, we have no worries about snow, but still cold fronts can be tricky. Meanwhile, enjoy the fresh air and may God bless you with a wonderful New Year.
Happy New Year to you, too.
The weather here on the Plateau in Tennessee is also weird. Right now it’s 68°, but a big cool-down is on the way. Happy New Year!
From the posts I have seen on Facebook, many locales are experiencing weird weather. Happy New Year to you and Betsy.
Happy New Year! Our weather has been a roller coaster. Today it is 36 degree and raining. It’ll be colder and windier tomorrow. What I like to call “cozy inside days.” But I agree with you. Sunshine makes any day better!
Living over here in Eastern PA, the weather has been crazy. No sun for 4 days. Rain, dreary, and cold. No snow quite yet. Don’t really want any either. Have a good New Years Day.
Hello,
We were having some milder weather too, only one snow fall so far and it melted quickly.
It has been rainy, foggy and cloudy for days in a row now. I am looking forward to some sunshine.
Have a great day and a happy month of January.
The weather has been very mild lately but tomorrow we are expecting snow for the first time, and it looks like we will be getting it all day off and on. Up to 10 inches on one forecast, up to seven on another. We’ll see I guess. Happy New Year to you and Bob and thank you so much for the smiles you bring for sharing all these great photos over the past year. I look forward to many more!
Our best wishes sent to you and Bob for a better and Happy New Year, Linda. The weather here in NH is just as erratic. We had a rainy and foggy weekend, sunny and dry now with temps in the mid 20s, rising to mid 40s on Wed and light snow possible on Friday. Thanks for sharing your road adventures last year and looking forward to more fun for us all in 2022.
It has felt like winter since January 3; no snow except a dusting one morning. Road trips will begin in February 🙂
Hi There, I always love reading your posts and glad that you two can get out a lot these days and travel and hike. We used to do it MUCH more when we were younger and healthier… SO–these days, I’ll just keep enjoying your travels.. Makes me feel like I’m right there with you.
You asked about the waterfall flows in Summer… WELL–they are never as pretty in summer –but there are a couple at Fall Creek Falls that seem to be fairly nice all year long… I think you would enjoy a trip there. We can drive down and meet you for lunch!!!!! Keep us posted.
Hugs,
Betsy
