This past Saturday Bob and I visited Beartown Rocks at Clear Creek State Park, near Sigel PA, with Amber and Johnny. We didn’t meet only for a walk through the woods. Amber and Johnny asked me to be their photographer for an engagement photo session.

Amber and Johnny are long-time friends with my brother and his family. Bob and I see Amber and Johnny sometimes when we spend the day at Jim and Judy’s camp and often at family weddings, birthdays and other family-type celebrations. John proposed to Amber in May this year on top of the Beartown Rocks Overlook. What an excellent choice of location for their engagement photo session!

Donald and Gina’s Engagement Photo Session

Bob and I spent the better part of the day, Saturday (August 11th), at my brother’s camp in Jay Township near St. Marys, Pennsylvania. My sister-in-law invited us to a fish fry. Most of my brother’s family was there, as well as a few of Jim and Judy’s friends. Judy’s brother, Donald, and his fiance Gina were there as well. Before enjoying the scrumptious fish fry and assorted side dishes and dessert, I photographed the engaged couple. Donald and Gina are getting married next year.

I had a good time doing this engagement photo shoot. I have known Donald since 1980, when his sister married my brother. In all these years, I have never known Donald to be happy in love. I am glad that he and Gina found each other.

Earlier this month I blogged about my niece and her boyfriend’s photo session. Emily and Dan’s photo session wasn’t the only photo session I had that day. I held a photo session also for my nephew, Jared, and his fiance, Sara, who became engaged in May this year. This collage shows a few photographs from the engagement photo session.

Congratulations again to Jared and Sara! I look forward to your wedding next year!

Engaged!

My stepdaughter became engaged on October 30th. This past Friday afternoon, I took pictures of Stacey and Mike at a local park in our hometown.
