Franklin on Ice: Egbert Memorial Fountain in Fountain Park

Each year since at least 2008 the city of Franklin, PA has hosted the Franklin on Ice festival.  Professional ice carving teams turn blocks of ice into beautiful works of art in the city’s picturesque Fountain Park. Bob and I attended Franklin on Ice for the first time this year, on February 8th.  I took several pictures, while at Franklin on Ice.  I created a slide show of my pictures.

In addition to ice sculptures, the Franklin on Ice event includes a chili cook-off, indoor sidewalk sales, and live entertainment throughout the day.  We came to Franklin only to see the ice sculptures.  Perhaps another year we will partake of other festival activities.

This is Liberty Street.
Fountain Park is located on the right-hand side of Liberty Street.

Franklin is a county seat.
Fountain Park is located to the left of Venango County Courthouse.
