Here are some visitors who came to our backyard on Mother’s Day.
As soon as he saw me, he started to sing 🙂
I thought this bunny was going to hop onto the picnic pavilion, where I was sitting. He didn’t.
Robin in a Tree
Robin in flight!
I was sitting on our picnic pavilion with my Kindle, when I took these pictures. Needless to say I didn’t manage to get much reading done!
Later in the evening, Bob made a fire. We cooked hot dogs over the fire. A little later Stacey dropped by to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. She had stopped earlier in the day, but we weren’t home. We had gone on a motorcycle ride, which I will blog about later. Stacey gave me a card for Mother’s Day. Inside the card was written:
“I owe you one (1) bakery item of your choice at the time of your choosing”.
As soon as I read Stacey’s message, I said “apple fritter”. I really like Tim Horton’s apple fritters. After thinking over my response, I told Stacey that I would like a Black Forest Cherry Cake. Stacey promised me both an apple fritter and a Black Forest Cherry Cake. I’ll share the cake with friends. The apple fritter is all mine!
