An April Sunrise

The dawning of the day
Because I haven’t had to be at work until the afternoon, most mornings I sleep in. Today I was up and about and saw the dawning of a new day.

Experiencing a sunrise is good for the soul. Lovely shot.

I see one of those from time to time.Red sky in morning, sailors take warning.Red sky at night, sailors delight.
What a greet way to start the day. But I don't blame you for sleeping in whenever possible.
Gorgeous sky, Linda!
Linda: Mornings are wonderful as Spring arrives. Now if we can get some warm weather.
Hi Linda, WOW—that is gorgeous… Our house has hills all around –so you can't see much of the sunrise from here. BUT–I love sunrises… Thanks!Hugs,Betsy
Linda, those are great pastel like colors. Great to see.Olivia
Linda, beautiful colors in your morning sky. A great way to start the day.
Very nice evening photo. I like the way the house is in silhouette as are the trees and they are in sharp relief. Of course, you have some of my favorite color right there!
Sometimes it's nice to be up before you have to – makes you feel on top of things! Is that frost on the rooftops??
Yes, Linda, that was frost on the roof tops. It snowed later in the day.
