Idora Neighborhood Mural
Today my friend, Marge, and I went on a day trip to Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, OH. I will share details and photographs from our visit to Mill Creek Park in a separate blog post. In today’s blog post I want to share with you a beautiful mural that we saw shortly before we reached Mill Creek Mall.

Idora Neighborhood Mural
This mural is 90 feet long and 15 feet high and represents the past, present and future of the Idora Neighborhood. Marge and I both commented on how new the mural appears. It is a recent sight in the Idora community, having been completed in July 2012. The mural includes pictures of the former Wild Cat roller coaster at Idora Park, Lanterman’s Mill in Mill Creek MetroParks, a young girl who lives in the community blowing bubbles with the bubbles floating past a group of local residents and ending at a community garden.

Beautiful mural, Linda. Was it done by one person or a group?
One person painted it, Betsy.
Linda: How I loved Idora Park, it was where our senior class went to on a field trip for graduation. We went there a lot of times.
Linda, what a wonderful mural. I love the boy with the bubbles. So cool!
Wow! What a mural!
