A Light Dusting
We received a light dusting of snow overnight. So far we have had very little snow during this 2012-2013 Winter season. We haven’t had to use either a snow thrower or a shovel. A mild Winter would be nice; however, I would like to see a white Christmas!
You can see my bird feeding station in this photograph. My bird feeding station consists of an artificial dogwood tree, from which all the flowers were removed, and two shepherd’s hooks. There is a suet cake on one hook, suet nuggets on a second hook, a wood bird feeder with sunflower seeds on another hook, and a sock filled with nyjer seed on the fourth hook. I have two shepherd’s hooks near the house, currently unused.

Maybe this will be all the snow we get for the season… One can only hope 😀
We haven’t even had that much snow yet, but I bet it is coming soon. I hope you get a lot of birds coming to your feeder so you can get a lot of great photos this winter.
So jealous! We had a couple of inches a couple weeks ago and that’s been it! I would love to have even a dusting…. hoping for a White Christmas!
We are getting a little now…doubt if we get much though. Still nice to see.
