Ashtabula County OH Covered Bridge Tour (Post 4 of 18)
Please refer to my first Ashtabula County OH Covered Bridge Tour blog post for additional information about this series of blog posts.
This is the Graham Road Covered Bridge.
This covered bridge formerly spanned the west branch of the Ashtabula River. The bridge was damaged by a flood in 1913. Many years passed. Graham Road Covered Bridge was relocated, near its original site, in 1972.
This bridge displays the first barn quilt to be placed on an Ashtabula County covered bridge. The barn quilt was installed on September 8, 2014. The 8-by-8 feet quilt honors the Benson family, which donated the land the covered bridge rests upon. For more information about the installation of this barn quilt, please click here.
Graham Road Covered Bridge would make a lovely spot for a picnic.
Be sure to carry out what you carry in.
We arrived shortly before 10:00 am, too early for lunch.
The picnic area overlooks the original site where the covered bridge was located.

It’s interesting that the bridge was relocated, but I’m glad it was saved.
